Senior prom coming up.GIRLS, PLEASE HELP!

our senior prom is on a yatch and i’m sure it will get pretty cold out on the water. My dress is a halter and backless (as in a lot of skin will be exposed).

what do girls do to keep from getting cold on prom night?
what kind of jackets are there to wear with a fancy prom dress?
besides wearing their date’s jacket, what other options are there to keeping warm?

my dress came with a shawl but i’m sure that will not suffice

looking good is not the problem. i would wear the shawl if it was enough to keep me warm. like i said, it will probably not suffice. as in, it will probably not efficiently keep me warm. the shawl is VERY thin. it’s see-through! that’s how thin it is. a thin see-through shall will probably not be very affective on a windy night out on the water.

You could wear a nice cardigan or shrug, although it might be hard to find one in California in May. I would probably go ahead and bring my coat as well, as long as it’s not, like, a parka or something.

If its a black dress, any kind of little half sweater, you know, the ones you can’t tie up and it goes only like pass your belly button?
they have lots of diff colors and some can be warm.
other wise, just cuddle with a lot of people

OMG!!!! Please Sweetie … Wear the dress you bought asnd bring your coat! I SWEAR You will not be the Only one who is worried about this and in the end you all will laugh at the pictures!of everyone all bundled up ..specially after all the bitchin it took to get that skimpy but incredibly sexy dress ;-)

Being cold will give your date a reason to give you their jacket. But u should just wear a half jacket or sweater. They’re cute and warm. Good luck.
