Hi I have a 1 year old lab and his hair is thinning.

Summer weather has started in Dallas and he is shedding and his hair is thinning in areas like his shoulderblades. Is this normal in the summer?

Its totally normal. I had a lab when I was in FL and she always shed in the summer.

Feed him Beneful. That food is suppossed to have a lot of vitamins to help him with that. No commercial endorsement intended.

And take your lab outside and brush him a lot. That way he sheds less in the house.
