I wonder if they know, Do you think they know?

I WONDER IF THEY KNOW…
I wonder if they know… that they are hurting me
I wonder if they know that after a while, all that will be left are couple of trees
They are running out of time to save our roots and leaves
This is a crime and they will soon do their time
I was once lush and green and now I’m turning gray with mold
Help will come our way, I was told
I didn’t see help for many hours
The pollution is a monster, our lovely creek it devours
