I recently logged on to windows live messenger and have seen that the program automatically blocked 30 of my contacts. I looked in my hotmail contacts and they were missing from there also. I know they were not deleted because I remebered one of my contacts addressed and clicked ‘add contact’. shortly after adding the contact, a small ‘blocked’ symbol was next to their name. I clicked “unblock’ and it was fixed.
the only prob is that i don’t remeber all my friends msn addresses. is there a website that checks which contacts have been blocked? I have no idea why msn decided to automatically block most of my contacts…PLEASE HELP!!!!

then there’s an allow list and a block list where you can see who you’ve blocked , then you have to move the contact to the allow list and when you right click you can see an option to add them to your contact list
Ok I figured out that after you unblock your contacts you cannot see your buddys online but they can see you online, when they talk to you, you have to click up the top (of the convo box) where it sez “this person is not a contact click to add them as a contact” (something along the lines of this). That person you blocked will now be added as a friend. SO YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR YOUR UNBLOCKED FRIEND TO TALK TO YOU FOR THIS TO WORK!! (which is no gud if they don’t talk to you and they were a previous friend you accidentaly blocked!) Hope that made sense. :)
Ok. After you haev went their, You click the “add” button from block to contacts THEN Left click their name and click “add to contacts” then click “apply” So you have to add them twice First, Click the arrows, then left click adn clcik “add to contacts” Then apply. and it should be ok =D
