Hello, I’ve never posted here before, but thought I’d give it a shot.

I have recently (over the past year) had an accident at work which resulted in 3 surgeries on my back, and I have been declared disabled ( I am able to walk just can’t do the work or anytype work that I was once able to do) I find it really hard to cope and deal with (I know there’s lots of people out there with worse problems than mine) But to add salt to the already gaping wound my Wife (soon to be ex) Decided to leave Me and my kids. So I went from being a hard working making a good living Family Man to A Disabled single Father of Two within a years time. It’s pretty depressing and I just don’t know what to do… Oh and to add fuel to the fire, I just know I’m getting addicted to the pain meds my dr. gave me..

Thanks for the reply, And no I’m not capable of any steady work I do recieve disability and I do some yard work here and there for neighbors when I can. But most of time the pain in my back get’s the best of me.

I guess all that you can do is carry on with the little jobs for the neighbours and stop when it starts to hurt your back. If your back does start to hurt, you don’t want to be putting more strain on it. You could always see if there are any jobs available that don’t require a lot of physical activity such as admin jobs.
