it depends on the atmosphere of the environment and what you want out of the relationship…
“hey, I like that picture. Is that you/did you take that? Wow! Where is it? Oh really, did you ever go to __?”
Or if no picture:
“Hey, I like your name. How’d you come up with that/ where’s it from? Oh, you’re French? Cool, my mom speaks french. Comment ca va? :)”
Or if you’d prefer:
“Hey, I’m dchiibo. I was just watching this really cool movie (reading this book) (listening to this music), and I was looking for someone to chat to about it. Have you ever seen ___?” (Helps if you can snoop their profile first to find something you have in common)
“Whatcha up to?” works too.

Go neutral and try asking about music… That’s what I do and it always seems to work

Why Not Ask Them What There Into. If Sports, You Could Say Sports You Like To Play, Books, Music Etc. Also, You Can Just Ask How They Are, What They Have Been Doing or just…Sup :D
I find That (If Face To Face Talking) If You Comment On What They Are Wearing, They find You Are Taking A Intrest In Them :D

Hope This Helps :D
