I bought a webcam and installed it.

now everytime i try to use my mic or even listen to things via my speakers I get a load static noise.. sometimes its short some time it can be long. when I unplug my webcam it seems to work fine. Any idea how i can fix this issue?

maybe the webcam is too close to the speakers causing feedback??

that is what i thought also so i did try to move it around and nope they are a fair distance apart i say a good 3-4 feet..

It could be the webcam software enabling the mic… check out the mic settings in control panel, and in the webcam software.

Thanks Anthrax…I think it works i will let you know i have tried 2=3 think that normal will make it do the noice but it has yet to do so.

Try setting up a troubleshoot through one of the web camera based messenger programs. They generally will help you to calibrate the sound so you don’t have feedback etc, because of their location.
