dont be afraid to ask?

! okay well here goes nothing! im going to get straight to the point. i just got excepted to a school in Florida. im a single mom of a four year old lil boy! i have to move from the west to the south. basically i dont have enough funds to bring my son along. i need to pay for books $1200 for the eyear, rent and childcare! i got room and board but to stay on campus and they dont have family housing. my credits is not great so i cant get private loans! i got all the fasfa aid i could get including the pell grant. i need to find a way to get this money and i dont know how. i have to leave and be there by 8/16/08 in order to make school happen. if there is anyone who can help however u can help please do. please and thank you!

nope no one wants to take on a responsibility that is no theirs! I’ve been taking care of him by myself since he was born!

Maybe you should ask you mom or family to take care of your son whilte you go. Maybe while you’re there you could get a job to support yourself.

Hmmmm, the only solution I can think of right now is to literally work yourself crazy. Full time classes and a full time job might do it. As you’re relying on campus housing, bringing your kid there isn’t an option, and with no family to help out, the only option is full-time child care.

You can totally accomplish this, but it’s going to take a LOT of very hard work.

I don’t mind working and school I’ve done it while I was pregnant and after. its just I need start up money! I gotta get there, and get a place but I d/n have enough saved! and my mom is not very helpful she and everyone else doesn’t even encourage the continuing education. idk how imma do it but I will! I just need a lil help
