I would like to build a raft.

If I was on an island and had nothing but a knife how can I make a raft, what would I need to keep it floting and make some kind of little shelter .

well if you were on an island with only a knife ,firstly is how can i survive ?before anything else.Are there trees on this island? Any water ? Any shelter? Any life at all?During the days heat from the sun in the night cold ,so you be building some sort of shelter first,food and water most important make sure to learn how to make fire without matches.Boy believe me this harder then any class in any university….

What I would do first in build a debris hut. To find out how, go to http://wikihow.com, and type in “How to make a Debris Hut” About making a raft I don’t know.
