How would I calculate the volume of a halfgallon container of water?

It grams? Centimeters? Are those even the right measurements to be using?

wow i’ve just found this question, but it’s usually calculated in cm^3 or m^3 or liter as teratot said. anything of 3 dimensions is calculated in: to the power 3 unit, and anything of two dimensions is calculated to the power 2 unit. Like area is m^2 (meter squared) or cm^2 (centimeter squared) :)

i guess it’s a late answer but it might help you in the futur if you come across such question :)
