Would this be a good poem or better as a rap?and tell me what you think about it

I thought you died in my mind along time ago
but your memories never leave they still haunt my soul
I try to leave you but something keeps telling me no
Even though I could never forget you, I have to let you go

And at night I scrub all these mirrors
Hoping to see my face but the image is no clearer
I tried to push this feeling away but instead it gets nearer
Until I can see my face and see the eyes of a steerer

But life wont let me take the wheel
to drive away from you and all that I have to feel
I can’t tell the differance between whats fake and whats real
So instead I sit in the back as we ride these rocky hills

well i was scared to post the songs i write cause some one could take it and get credit for it but wat ever floats your boat

and its better as a rap but its kind or short… i like it
