Find help: I’m digging in the old ways to find new things. - Help.com

I’m digging in the old ways to find new things.

But they all seem torn.
Lately, it seems like i feel so alone, and that i want to be around people. and when im around people, i feel like im annoyed, or tired, or drained. everything i look at seems dead and dry and i hate it.
ive been a walking headache for two weeks and no body seems to understand.
I just need help figuring this out. i feel lost on the right track.

I understand.

Believe it or not, sometimes you have to look back to look forward.

Do you have a blog? Believe it or not, writing in a private blog everyday or a nice journal (if you can keep it private) will really help you sort out your feelings. It will also help you see where you want to be, and what you want to keep in your life -and what you don’t. :)

i have a myspace blog that i keep all of the time. i used to write in journals for over half of my life, but the way things are lately, i dont ever have time. i wish i did, though. i know that it helps a lot, but once i get started, its like i cant finish a journal entree any more, which only makes me more depressed. :P

Then don’t worry ’bout finishing one. A sentence or two can be all you need.

Or try a sketch journal. Or a glue book -rip pictures out of magazines -want this -hate this - need more of this - glue ‘em in a scrapbook…write on them if you have time or don’t.

No structure neccesary. Your brain will sort and sift and start putting the pieces where you need them all on it’s own…the same way it remembers to breathe, to eat, to hit the right key when you’re asking for help.

Don’t let anyone make you feel short. You have everything you need to survive in this world, and thrive while you do it. You just have to relearn to channel the energy.

I have a journal ‘box’. It’s a cardboard box under my bed. I toss things in there. Dead leaves, sea shells, chipped coffee cups…. Believe it or not, when I dump it out and sift through it, I get the same sense I do reading my old journals. I know where I was, I know how far I’ve come, I know where I need to go.

There are no rules, except the ones you make for yourself. Make rules that have good consequences and lead to sunny places, and you’ll be fine. :)
