it feels like i keep having a reacuring prop in my dream, a rat that stabs things.

It seems like alot of my dreams involve this figure, a small black rat, that either stabs other animals and/or threatens me or my family. He’s generally standing upright and holding a pointed stick in his paws. Small, but vicious and intelligent appearing. sometimes taking on the image you would expect from a sci-fi movie. Like, a rat that some scientist gave human intelligence and now it wants to kill me.

I dont have a fear of rats or anything, in fact, just last night i was considering getting a rat. Then i went to sleep and dreamt another dream involving the rat. Im scared its a sign, because whenever i have reacuring dreams or reacuring things in my dreams it feels like something in real life always happens relating to that. Idk, when i was little, i used to think i could see in the future, and kept having weird visions that came true. I kept telling myself it wasn’t real, but everytime i started doubting it, i would have a vision. They happened more often when i was little, especially during my waking hour. When i was asleep they werent always as clear.

the very first vision i ever had was when i was at camp. This kid was walking in circles on this weird pole-like thingy. Suddenly i imagened him tripping over the jacket next to me and a lot of blood. I pulled my jacket closer to me, and then it happened. Freaky huh.

Im not superstitious, and i still really believe they were coincidences, but i think the rat dream may be a warning sign of some subconsious fear of rats or something. What do you people think?

well, some ppl think in the dreams being wants of the subconcious, others think that its a way of god communicating to the human, and some think that its not symolic or meaningful, just our minds organizing everything in our lives. i dont know, maybe you can check a dream book for symbols, or perhaps its just you worring about something and the rat represents your problems jabbing away at you.
