Why does the bottom of my foot hurt so much?

The bottom is swollen and red and tender. I cannot put any pressure on it.

There was no injury. Came on all of a sudden. Does anyone know what it could be?

No, it just happened today, thought it would go away but it seems to be getting worse.

May have bruised your heel or strained your arch.

Have no memory of doing anything odd to it.

Sometimes you won’t even notice it until later, when it starts hurting.

The shoes I’ve been wearing are old.

Maybe invest in a new pair with more arch support, if you go to a New Balance shoe store, they can help you with that.

sounds like planter facsitis (probly spelled that wrong). old shoes contribute to that. new shoes with arch support are a good idea. also might want to see a podiatrist aswell because this problem is serious. having one bad foot puts more preasure on the other causing it harm.
