!!!My grandson visited me over the Weekend and he is in a competition with other Bands in 6 Weeks .Winner gets to play in a big shoppingcentre and a cheque of 2 grand .the music has to be original so i said like most grand dads ok i help you with your original song.My big mouth .what do young kids like 16 listen to?One song i can remember is give me a peace of this or something like thatand i thought what a lot of rubbish and that is what kids buy?Anyhow i do try to help him and his Band.

what genre is the music specifically because I have tons of songs I’ve written and put on the shelf.

But of course, we’re looking “clean” no matter what.

That all depends. different people are interested in different music. The music i listen to may not be the same music your grandson listens to. Try to see what he likes and maybe the 2 of you can get an idea of what knd of music to make.

He is there bands lead singer ,funny when he is with me he wont sing in front of me
i showed him a few tricks on my guitar .He doesn’t like country which i like ,he doesn’t like blues which i like some German band and techno i think he goes for.I just want to finish of the lyric with cats and rats and rules and regulations .I even have a good rhythm for it.Let’s see i have another five weeks to finish it.
