i’ve been with the guy i’m with now for 9 years, every boyfriend i’ve ever had i met by doing random things like working or walking down the block, there is no one right thing to do a guy will either like you and want to get to know you or he won’t and vice versa

I met my now husband on a dating website “Yahoo Personals”. The old way for adults to meet was either at work or at bars. My job was of such a skill that only women worked there–(I’m a woman and was looking to date a man), so no luck at work.

I am of the religious-type so bars where people drink alcohol was really not the place for me as I wanted a man who did not drink.

So, that really only left internet dating. It really is the modern way to find romance. Used to be that people were really afraid of internet dating; however, it is now in the mainstream culture. I know lots of really nice people who use that approach. Like I said, I met my husband that way about a year-and-a-half ago. He is EVERYTHING I ever wanted in a man (I’m 43 years old).

So, put a nice photo of yourself on an internet website and then pray, asking God to help you find the right man for you. (At least, that’s what I did, and God helped me).

My New Year’s Resolution a couple years ago was to make a new friend every day. I use that really loosely - just force yourself to talk to somebody new every day, when you’d usually keep quiet. I am kind of shy, and I’ve met some cool people on the bus, around the city, waiting to be seated at restaurants … just put yourself out there.
