Its like my life (work wise and money wise) has been on hold - until now - now we can actually start living

eeeee hehehehe ^_^ yes it is wonderful. Gonna start job search today. Americans dont have job centers so it could be interesting in the hunt. Probably just a lot of red pen and newspapers - Blake is already looking for me also around his work place and asking friends. He is such a sweet heart.

and Courty yes it has taken ages. Multiple forms, lot of money, lots of appointments and a lot of sitting and waiting. It is some thing I dont suggest you do unless you have a solicitors XD Blake and I did it the hard way and it is hard. We now wish we did hire some body. We would not have made some of the silly mistakes we have made. You can get the forms online - but be careful coz you might miss 1. The instructions arent very clear.

I personally do not like agency’s coz they take a huge amount out of your pay check. However if needs be I will use the company Blake went with. They only put some body in a temp to perma situation. They dont just send you out to lots of temp situations ^_^

There is a new block of office buildings that have just opened up near Blake’s work. As soon as I can (sorted out resume and suit) Im going to walk around there and deliver resumes and offer me for employment. Ive never done this before but right now is the perfect chance coz of the new companies ^_^

found out I need social security number 1st (doh) another form to fill out grrrr - but it shouldnt take too long!!!

hahaha - form is now filled out just need to go to the office :S then I need to open up an American bank account (I cant see them paying into my Brits bank account - too much hassle) YAY things are still happening.
Need to talk to a college or some thing about my British qualifications and exactly what they mean in America - American equivalent for GCSE’s and stuff.
Trying to sort out paperwork for the interview also - I finally have it all in order ^_^ need to find a way to print of the skype records and find the letters we sent each other

moving along ^_^ applied for my social number (should be arriving in the next 1-2 weeks) and I finally opened a new American bank account WOOT now all I need to do is call a college about my qualifications, sort out a resume and find a suit lol then its job hunting all the way for me

Vegas was crazy. We were lucky enough to see both sides of Vegas. The quiet red rock areas and the loud night life stuff. The conservation was beautiful. We saw it the day before the wedding. It made us both really think and appreciate us meeting. The night life we saw after the wedding lol we went and saw all the free stuff along the strip. The pirate ship thing and the volcano and even the fountain dance that people will recognize from oceans eleven. I think we even stood where they stood lol. We had a great time. The wedding was beautiful and small and private. Nothing too ‘Godly’ it was perfect. They even rang the bells for us ^_^ (keep meaning to post pics but cant right now coz the codes have been removed) yes I do have an accent lol very British and everything out here is very different. The driving, the shopping, the products even the washing machines lol

Immigration interview is tomorrow :S little bit nervous :S will let yall know how it goes. Really early in LA so leaving at a ridiculous time to avoid all the traffic. GULP!!! paperwork is sorted and we think we are as ready as we possibly could be :S

eeeeeeeee just got back from LA :D interview was quick! I mean really quick. He basically asked our names explained a bit about stuff and told me Im gonna get a 2 year green card WOOP!!! I am now a fully legal American resident and can put all that paperwork away for 21 months (which is when I need to start the process of renewing it) WOOP after the 2 years I renew it to a full 10 years.
We even saw the Hollywood sign on the way back - was totally cool. So much stress has just evaporated in the last few hours its not even possible lol :D

hell yeah its an awesome feeling :D finally start proper living with out worrying about what I can and cannot do :D

tried 2 receptionist jobs yesterday :) 1 was already filled (was at a salon so not really my style) and the other has a message to call me back (Dental reception so could be good - they said leave message to all those interested in the job) gonna be browsing the internet later for more possible jobs to apply to :) fingers crossed for me

hehe pointy ears is cool :D you could be like an elf or halfling :D I have a freckle on my middle toe that I think is awesome :D when I 1st noticed it I thou it was dirt and scrubbed it lol
