Mozilla Firefox question.

I need help finding a setting on my Firefox. I have it set so it does automatic spell check on webpages when I type in anything. But, like in Word, if you right click on a misspelled word it give you a correct spelling suggestion or the option to “Add to dictionary” for proper names, etc. My problem is I accidentally clicked on “add to dictionary” on words that were misspelled. Now I can’t find this illusive dictionary to delete them out. Gah!!

Any ideas?

Actually, it can be done, although it requires that you have a text editor on your machine (or that you are willing to download one). Firefox stores your custom dictionary words under your profile, not in the actual dictionary. You have to locate the file, and then remove the misspelled words with a text editor…

How much pain and suffering are you willing to go through to remove the offending words? :)
