Do Airport’s Scan Hard Drives?

Okay, I am going on a trip to Canada and am going via airplane. I am not a big fan of having people look into my files. I am using Vista with the most widely used HD format. Will they scan the hard drive and if so, how should I encrypt it (BitLocker doesn’t work on my notebook). Maybe it is just an error. Does anyone know if the DELL XPS M1730 support BitLocker?

My friend was hunted by the FBI all the way from the states across europe because he had PGP hack algorythm on one of his Hard-drives. If I were you, I wouldn’t risk it. You could up in Gitmo with electrodes attached to your b***s.

Feingold: Bush admin secrecy can’t outweigh travelers’ privacy
By Nick Juliano | Uncategorized | Wednesday, 25 June 2008

If you enter or leave the United States carrying a laptop, flash drive or cell phone, the government can collect and store a massive amount of personal information without first obtaining a warrant, having probable cause or even suspecting you of anything.

My computer fan smells liike tuna. How do I solve this problem? And could it have anything to do with the meat grinder mod I installed in my computer?
