He says he doesnt like me, but he sends me mixed emotions.

I just asked my crush if he likes me or not.
I wrote it in a note, because he wasn’t listening to me.
“Do you like me or not, because its really hard to like someone that doesnt”
I left his homeroom and came back, when I did, he just stared at me for a long time, but he wouldnt talk to me. I finally said “so?” to him, expecting a reply, but he didnt even look at me.

I asked him after school, and he finally answered.”YES, I hate you!” He said this with a big smile on his face.
“Thats not what I asked!” Cuz I asked if he liked me, not if he hated me.

I then asked him again the next day.
Him: About what?
me: ..you know..
him: the note?
me: …yea.
him: No, I do not like you *huge smile*
me:then say it with a straight face.
It then took him a second, but he said it with a straight face.

He’s kind of shy….seconds after he said that he untied my shoelaces and tried to tie them, when I could easily see him in plain sight, he knew I could see him.

Would you say he likes me? Cuz hes so confusing.

Sounds like hes (a) trying to be an *** or (b) is trying to have some playful fun. I say you tell him that you acknowledge that he doesn’t like you, then, just ignore him. Then if he does he won’t be able to bear that and will speak up trying to get your attention, BUT if he really doesn’t like you then you will see that there was no interest.

yeah, i agree with Dan you should just sit back and watch him and see if he returns interest. It should be pretty easy to tell.
