Accidently changed the recording of a meeting to the wrong speed.

Since this is a new job, I’m looking for help! I went to Staples etc. but they only sell micro and my tapes are standard size. Is there a way to slow down the tape (I feel as if I’m listening to the “Chipmunks”. PLEASE ANY SUGGESTIONS!

Unfortunately I have no idea what your describing….I tried using a hand held device but - no luck. I’d rather not make an issue and will would rather quietly attempt to use the machine in the office. This is one of those dilemas (spelling?) that you need to cover yourself. Which is what I am trying to do. My belief, if there is the will then there is a way……………

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately I was a little bit cocky last night as I was recording a meeting. I switched the microphone from 4.75 to 2.__ which is why the tape is impossible to transcribe. Last’s night Board Meeting was my first to record and I need to find a way to slow down the tape. With today’s technology I’m sure there’s a way, but I have no idea where to begin. But - Thank you for your help.
