History buffs wanted!

I have to do a 5-10 minute debate on the positives about the Vietnam War…this is such a hard topic because its a long time to talk about things other than we were trying to stop communism, spread democracy. i need help!

im not asking for anyone to write anything for me. im asking for quick facts, besides the obvious…like it says in the original post. i know communism is bad and we were being all heroic in trying to fight it..truth is my father died in vietnam and i really dont think it was anything positive. ive done my research but its better to talk to someone because you will get more out of that than out of reading, or even Googling.

im not asking you to. i dont need anything from you. you dont know anything about me. so you dont have the right to say that. and im not wasting my time arguing with you. its also sad, quite sad actually, that your doing the same in arguing with me..as i am years younger than you and you find the need to obviously prove some fact to me. and seeing as you couldnt tell me anything i didnt already know about the topic i questioned. your argument is useless.
