If they get hydrogen powered cars to work then you will be putting actual hydrogen gas into your car, odds are that hydrogen stations would start popping up where you could by the stuff.

Hydrogen Fuel cell cars need fuel provided by an external tank, like a gas engine, but it converts chemical energy into electrical energy like a battery
