Here’s a car question.

I’m looking to get a new car; specifically a luxury sport sedan, preferably under 40k. I think I’ve narrowed it down between a Cadillac CTS, a Benz C-Class sport, and an Infiniti G35. I’m kinda leaning towards the Infiniti because I feel like it gives the most bang for the bucks.

I’ve also considered the Audi A5 (yeah its a coupe, but the A4’s too underpowered for my taste), and of course the Beemer 3 series, though I feel like they’re both too expensive for what you get and the Beemer’s styling, both interior and exterior, is just kinda boring. Anyone have any suggestions? I’ve been looking this up myself, and I even found a comparison of a bunch of the cars I’m thinking of, and the consensus is that there’s some better than others, but when you get into cars of this caliber, they’re all great and a joy to drive no matter what. However, I would feel better knowing that I’m getting the sweetest ride for the money. I’ve only test driven the BMW and the Benz so far, and to me the BMW feels a little better, but they both feel pretty amazing. Can anyone help me narrow it down? Or even offer new suggestions? Thanks a lot.

BTW that comparison is here in case anyone is interested: http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/...

I sell cars. I personally think the CTS is the bank for the buck. They did wonders with that car in 08. Let me know what you decide.

You luck son of a gun, I wish I could even test drive those things, they would just look at me and be like “you can’t afford these cars”. I really think the Audi’s are really nice, one of my goals to own a audi A8

I was hoping there would be someone knowledgeable with the CTS. I used to be obsessed with it when I saw GM’s redesign. I love the horsepower, the look of it, and the interior looks so classy it puts the Benz to shame. However, I’ve heard it also bigger than any of the other cars. I haven’t had the time to even find my closest Caddy dealership, so my question is, is it really as much of a behemoth as reviews make it out to be? I don’t drive that often any more, so I’m not as much concerned about interior room and comfort (I’m sure all these cars are comfy enough) as much as I am about how pleasurable a drive it is. Does the size really affect it that much? Thanks.

Audis are REALLY nice, especially the top of the line ones (aka the ones I’ll never be able to afford), but the problem I have with the lower-line ones is that the A4 is priced about the same as my other options, but isn’t as athletic or powerful as them, while the A5/S5 are really pushing it with my price range.

The CTS is really a pleasure to drive. They didn’t a wonderful job. There definately is more space and is extremly comfortable. The ride is what you expect it to be when you think of the name Cadillac. I sell Honda, Hyundai, Chevy, Cadillac and used cars. I drive the BMW’s, Mercedes Audi’s etc, and to be honest would not buy a 2007 CTS or older. It would have to be at least the 08. It would be worth your time to find your nearest dealer and test drive one.
