sleep help: i suffer from night terrors. - Help.com

i suffer from night terrors.

usually right before i fall asleep for real i fall into this 20 minute “nap” and im not really sleeping but i can’t wake myself up. i can’t even describe it. but anyway i looked up information to closely diagnose myself. everything about night terrors was IDENTICAL to what i’m experiencing. the only thing is… i have no idea what to do about it! does anyone have ANY suggestions? because you have no idea how scary it is to experience it.. PLEASE anyone who has any ideas…

Go to see a doctor, maybe? And I like dazmo’s suggestion… or if you aren’t religious, maybe write in a journal, or meditate, anything to get yourself in a calm state of mind.

See a doctor. Definitely see a doctor.

But in the meantime, careful what you eat before you go to bed, drink a glass of water and careful what you watch/read or talk about.

Pray–and convince yourself that you’re the scariest thing in the house, and that anything messin’ with you is going to get beat up!
