trojan problem!

since last 2 weeks every time I connect to the internet files winueje.exe or winfshs.exe or winxxax.exe get downloaded in user temp folder and create and start some 23hbs54.exe like files in sytem32.
I am fedup of deleting them again and again, I also delete its registry where it attaches to shell=explorer.exe key, still I wonder how it manages to load again as soon as i go online.
how do i get rid of this permanently! please help!!

Yeah, I hate bloody trojans. Some you can remove with software, some can be removed by coding, while the worst ones are so deep seeded that I dunno… sometimes it’s just worth starting from scratch.

The ultimate trojan solution is a clean windows install. Then after that, set up a good firewall, anti-virus and spyware protection.

For firewall, Windows Firewall doesn’t do a whole lot. So there I would suggest Comodo:
http://www.download.com/Comodo-Firewa…

For a good award winning anti-virus I’d like to suggest AVG:
http://www.download.com/AVG-Anti-Viru…

I have used both, and have been quite happy with them.

In addition you might want one or more of these spyware and registry cleaners:

http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-2008…
http://www.download.com/CCleaner/3000…
http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search…

You might know all this, but it doesn’t hurt putting it up here.

Actually Anthrax - I’m going to copy it if you dont mind because it neatly gives people the best options so it would save a lot of time when us Brits get computer failure during the night - and you know I do love a link Regards Mas - lol

hehe sure thing. The more people that use good and free security applications, the better. I’m a big fan of free software. So much in fact that I now only run Linux on my laptop. Of course, I don’t recommend Linux to everyone. What you run on your computer is personal preference, and while Linux is absolutely amazing when it comes to online security, it’s lacking in the games and third-party software department.

Spread those links as much as you can :)

I know… lol. I can’t help it. I’ve come down with some sort of Linux fever. It’s like all I can think about these days. Actually, NO ONE GET LINUX! IT’S DANGEROUS AND ADDICTIVE!

Really, I want to install it on all my computers. The Windows 98 machine with the somewhat broken CPU won’t let me though… grrr. Then again, that machine doesn’t let me do a whole lot of anything. I think I’m gonna wait until I’m having a party next time and we’ll go to the balcony and see how far we can throw it. That should be fun.

If your PC seems like its slowing down or having a hard time surfing the web or just doesn’t seem right.
You should go to http://download.com and get these programs.
AD-Aware: http://www.download.com/3120-20_4.htm…
Spybot search and destroy: http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search…
CCleaner: http://www.download.com/CCleaner/3000…
and and if you dont have an Antivirus program you can use
Avast: http://www.download.com/Avast-Home-Ed…
or AVG: http://www.download.com/AVG-Anti-Viru…
and for your firewall a good program is
Zone Alarm: http://www.download.com/ZoneAlarm-Fir…
Install these programs and run them regulary. This will keep your system clean and running properly. These programs are free and Download.com is a part of CNET (the site that your posting on right now). Hope this helps :-)

Thing is I want to set up a recruitment company with you - you, me, the labour command against the world - sorry off topic there Mas
