Please could someone answer me postively…

..

I posted a message months ago about someone helping me to move to US or Canada and that am willing to pay. Though on my previous post I have heard postive replies but with some of them ending up not meeting up to their words. Currently I have someone wanting to help, she also have promised not to let me down until is done but she is not given me any of the information I requested for going on 3wks now. It makes me begin to have doubts so am re-posting again. Could someone help me.. Plsss… I need this and willing to abide by anything the person willing may require. I really do not have much to say until I hear from someone, inface anyone. Thanks and God bless!

Hi Emichael,

We spoke about this yesterday in chat. I hope that you are able to get the information you need so that you can get your visa and start your journey. I wish you luck!

There’s not much this broke 16 year old Canadian can do, but maybe you could sign up for a student exchange program? But you’ve probably already thought of that.

Just to clarify, do you need a place to live when you get here? Do you need help getting here or what? I’m really confused

The internet or something is probably having a hard time locating you in Nigeria (your profile says that’s where you live), so it just sets it to US by default, I think.

I’m not sure what the history behind this is so if I’m off target forgive me. If you’re a young person, check out working as an AU PAIR. And no, it’s not just for girls! You get to live legitimately in the country for a period, you have accommodation and food and you get paid a small wage for I think it is about 25 hours a week (used to be that was the norm in uk). The advantage of it is that you can move around from post to post (some are for one month, others a year or even longer…) and check out places. You have enough free time to study or look for work. As long as you stick to within the rules, it’s a great way of getting a step on the first rung of the ladder.

Don’t give up emichael. There are lots of agencies to put your cv on. Just make sure they are legit and don’t want you to pay loads to do it!

I don’t know what country you are in, but maybe this site is a good starting point. Look for agencies that are accredited or members of a recognised organisation. http://www.iapa.org/Docs/02_organisat…

Mumstheword… thanks for your reply. I am in Nigeria. I have tried that aupair job application for years and is not been easy getting one. I was a paid member once on www.greataupair.com but after some months or so… they had to block my region due to scam. I battled this issue for long but they refuse to back down, I even suggested they close monitor everyone from my region and set rules that no one must violate or else expelled but they refuse.. And I have tried other websites also but I haven’t heard wonderful responses like the one on greataupair.com.

But my plan on this, is to first come as a visitor and then within the legal 3months, change to another status. I know it can work.

Well, in that case, bring everything you need to fill out lots of applications. If email isn’t working for you, try direct visits to the agencies when you arrive and good old fashioned pen and paper.

Good luck with it. Something is sure to work out.

I’m doing just fine emichael. Thank you for asking. I know it must be tough for you some days. Hang in there - there are always rainbows :o)

No dear, I don’t connect outside of the site I’m afraid. I made a post about that once called “love at a distance”. It’s on my profile somewhere.

I do pop in when I’m able, so I daresay we’ll bump into each other again.

You take care too. x
