Theres this girl I met, who is a friend of my friend.

I don’t know her particularly well, I only met her twice and chatted to her briefly. Now, I want to get to know her better BUT our mutual friend is totally incapable of organising a social event where I can just interact and casually chat with her. But, I do have her number…however she didnt give it to me. Should I message her, and if so what should I say? “Hi, I got your number from X-can we go for coffee?” is going to be rather creepy from somebody you dont really know…so anybody got any ideas I can work with?

****… this is a tough one…

Maybe send her a message with your AIM/MSN screenname, get her to add you, get to know her better online, and then take it from there?

It’d be even better if you could get her aim/msn from your mutual friend to make sure you don’t come off as creepy.

What about just telling her the truth? As in: “Hey, I know this seems really creepy but there is no other way I can talk to you. When I met you, you seemed like a person Id really get along well with - any chance we could just pretend that I got your number from you the last time I saw you and go from there?”…I think it could work!

well….does she have a myspace? haha i know myspace right?..but if you find her on there you could just ad her and send her message. she will totally think your a little creepy if you got her number from someone else and you message her. obviously you just right off the bat say lets get coffee. but yea..do it that way. so you dont look creepy

I would talk to my friend and get this girls number and see what day your friend would like to go out for coffee with you and her. Then I would call and say that you and your friend were wondering if she would like to go out for coffee. She won’t feel as alienated if she knows your guys’s friend is coming too. Hopefully it will form into a friendship that will go to the point that she will feel comfortable going out with you alone.

i know im a kid but theres this girl i like whos kinda my freind..ive known her since 1st grade (im in 5th now)… i think she likes me but im not sure she has told me she doesnt like me like a million times when im by my friends but she acts like she does when im alone…. but then again she is super nice so i cant tell can someone plz help me out and tell me how to find out if she likes me or not or how to get her to like me
