Person help: I have Windows vista home premium and I use Windows mail. - Help.com

I have Windows vista home premium and I use Windows mail.

Telus upgraded to high speed and now my e-mail isn’t working properly. I can receive mail, however when I send or forward mail it goes into my outbox and not to the intended person. I press send/receive and nothing happens. I have called telus to get technical assistance but they are always busy. Please help. Until my problem is rectified I can not mail anyone.

Heres what you do. Open your mail and goto tools, Internet accounts, Servers. Make sure that the settings in this box matches what the Internet provider supplied you with. The outgoing mail SMTP needs to match their server. If you did not receive a paper listing these settings go to their website and look up the default settings for mail. Hope this helps :-)
