Well there are cases of “eye witnesses” claiming to have seen things they have not soley for attention or their two minutes of fame. But I can see where you are coming from people should not dismiss others beliefs so quickly.

its funny i never thought about it but i just checked a bunch of sites that say cell phones do not work at high altitudes because the signal cannot get to a tower… but who knows, ive never tested it.

To be perfectly honest I think 9/11 was the government not terrorists, but saying that might get me hated..or I might mysteriously vanish from the Earth…

I work at an airport and I know some pilots, both commercial an private.
I’ll see what they’re experiences with cell phones at various heights are.

I think maybe some of these people crying “hoax” should have the guts to stand in front of the relatives and say so. Particulary those who actually spoke to their loved ones in the minutes before they died.

As for “do cell phones work in planes”. Yes they do. Though it is not normally permitted since they can interfere with navigation systems.

I guess the pilot in this instance didn’t see much further need for any accurate navigation….

I think my mind is made up that no matter what, the responsibility for what happened lies fairly and squarely with the terrorists regardless of what other decisions were made that day.

I guess we’d have to ask the relatives if they really got a call on not.. and from whom…

Whilst i’m all for freedom of information, I can’t help wondering “what benefit?” in all this trawling around for precise details. For the relatives, of course there is a need for understanding that is vital to help deal with their grief.

For others it simply smacks of sensationalism.

I don’t refute anything any witnesses said they saw but I don’t refute the need for a certain degree of silence from the authorities when it comes to protecting our security either.

i’d recommend you seeing “Wag the Dog” the movie, because it’s a comic take on a situation like this.

Yes, I did watch your videos. And odd isn’t it that nobody saw any smoke or fire? Yet there it is.. plain as day on the footage. Kind of proves that even witnesses to the aftermath can’t always be relied upon to give accurate statements.

I think i’ll refrain from further comment on the basis that “half baked stories” and the apparent suggestion that 9/11 was a deliberately staged act by the US govt don’t sit within my personal realms of either common sense, experience or decency.

I believed that the government orchestrated 9/11 (after I saw Loose Change) too until people started looking at me funny when I spoke about it and calling me crazy behind my back. I dropped it. Then I saw that stupid effin Zeitgeist movie and all my suspicions came back plus a heap of new ones. Now everytime I start thinking/reading about it, I feel weird, like this is stuff I’m really not supposed to know, but there’s nothing I can do to “expose” the truth or make people believe. Wish I’d never seen that stupid movie…

Hi Pom Pom, me apologies on the lateness of my response about the cell phone usage. Cell phones can and have been used in aircraft while in flight. You can actually reach more towers while in the air unless you are out of range vertically. This was relayed to me by a commercial pilot. Hope it helps…….Shakey…..oh, and have a great day….haven’t talked in awhile…….

Cockpit Tapes??? You did say you watched the videos she posted right well i think you missed something… Everything was ASH! There was no evidence left but a little piece of phone equipment. So how the hell does a COCKPIT TAPE manage to not turn into ash?? If you can explain that one then my hats off to ya…

Im not going to lie the eye witness made me raise an eyebrow… But i just thought harder. Lets go back to the Twin Towers and Building 7. Nothing was left of these buildings but ash. The only fire seen was days later from the remaining steels that held the buildings up, which was melton metal not fire). The small jet that this woman saw did not contain these steel rods, which means nothing was left but ASH. The plane was about the same size as her van, the twin towers were skyscrapers. No one probably saw smoke because the Jet was so small that it didnt cause much smoke as the twin towers did.

And its funny once you really think about it. The Twin Towers and Building 7 were nothing but ash. The so called Commercial plane (Flight 93) was nothing but ash. Sounds like they used the same bombs they used to demolish the buildings if you ask me. You are probably thinking why the hell would they put bombs in the plane?? Because if the news reporters and bystanders saw a small JET they wouldve quickly dismissed this scene as a flight gone bad not a COMMERCIAL PLANE that is twice the size of a small plane. Think about it…

If the government didnt have anything to do with it then how did those (previously taped) people who were being interviewed know within minutes that Osama Bin Laden did that attacks (without investigating). How is it that the eye witness from the streets (in the staged news report) know the buildings were going to collapse before the buildings came to its demise but the FIREFIGHTERS didnt?? You need to think lady or man because you obviously arent.
