I’m doing a pyschology paper and I’ve gotten through most of the questions but this question I just don’t understand.

I’ve looked on wikipedia and asked my teacher but she… just doesn’t help. Anyways here’s the question any help would be great;

You are riding a bicycle and your helmet slips forward, covering your eyes. You readjust the helmet just in time to catch sight of a furry white blur whizzing by against the black street. You gasp in surprise as you catch sight of a pack of seemingly huge dogs only a few feet behind you. Explain how vestibular sense, kinesthesis figure-ground perception, closure, the law of common fate and size constancy are involved in this event.

Being a psych major I was interested in your post. I also learned that you don’t really know how to search the internet. I found every on of these terms with a simple google search (a couple results were on wikipeidia). Nice try though… you locus of control is a bit off tonight.

I used google for each of the terms a couple of google results came up wikipedia… they involve perception mostly… I’m not sure how you might use closure in the scenario… but the rest are about what our mind sees etc. It is interesting.

ya I love the subject, it’s really fasinating, maybe I’m weird like that but I think it’s one of the most interesting things I can think of at the moment. What can you do with a degree in pyschology? I mean besides theropy and things like that, or is that pretty much it?

There are lot and lots of non-profit jobs out there… not the best paying usually but they are there. Some Human Resource departments in regular business look for psych degrees… in some ways best to go on and get that Masters so you can be a licensed LSCW or MFT
