Just do a search for speed or bandwitdh test, another one is http://www.bandwidthplace.com/

if it seems like your bandwidth is good, try getting the newest version of flash and check your video drivers.

If your PC seems like its slowing down or having a hard time surfing the web or just doesn’t seem right.
You should go to http://download.com and get these programs.
AD-Aware: http://www.download.com/3120-20_4.htm…
Spybot search and destroy: http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search…
CCleaner: http://www.download.com/CCleaner/3000…
and and if you dont have an Antivirus program you can use
Avast: http://www.download.com/Avast-Home-Ed…
or AVG: http://www.download.com/AVG-Anti-Viru…
and for your firewall a good program is
Zone Alarm: http://www.download.com/ZoneAlarm-Fir…
Install these programs and run them regulary. This will keep your system clean and running properly. These programs are free and Download.com is a part of CNET (the site that your posting on right now). Hope this helps :-)

That is slow but I dont know if it’s slow enough to make a them slow. Are you trying flash based websites such as youtube? Or are you trying to play them off your harddrive?

I would say it might be your download speed then, I average about 3000kb/s and it sometimes runs slow for me.

Its not because of the two different versions of your OS. It could be your NIC card is out of date but it could be that your connections is slow.
My speed-test results are
5464 kb\ps Down
523 kb\ps up
Maybe try upgrading your DSL speed. Hope this helps :-)

This happens with my laptop as well. I generally blame it to overheating, but it does it as well when it’s cooled down. It’s DEFINITELY not your connection speed, as 500kbps is sufficient. Not great, but enough.

It’s something to do with your computer. How you take this advice is up to you.

Wireless…..To think of it, when I was using a direct feed through the ethernet port, it ran fine.
