Help!

I just bought a small 15L tank for my betta and i didn’t think but all of the sides are reflective, so the betta thinks it’s under attack all the time!! will he get stressed out and die soon? his beautiful fins are unfurled all the time now. will he learn that it’s just him or will he go crazy?

I doubt he will learn, fish are like that.
Maybe to save your tank you could go to the pet shop and see if they have any laminated backgrounds that fit into tanks, stop him from getting stressed out…?

I agree, maybe you could a peice of paper ,just something on the tank until you come up with a better solution.Or change it into another container.Since it may not have long to wait.

Cover the tank from the outside - dont put anything ‘alien’ inside it - it could kill him quicker, cover it with a sheet around one side and move it from the light for now. Then get back to the shop and get a proper insert for the tank.

Out of a matter of interest you did wash out the tank and any new gravel you put into it - yes? I killed George when I poured unwashed gravel into his tank - I felt bad for a while about that
