I am in a fairly new job, the staff have been split up into focus groups to redesign aspects of the business.
I am in a group with my senior and my over-manager and another over-manager. Our group has left it until the last minute and after a ten minute chat today we have come up with some points. I’m typing it up tonight…it is really not detailing what was asked for. My senior is going to give the presentation tommorow from the notes i’m making on power point. Do I add some stuff and potentially look like an idiot? or do I keep it simple and as we talked about in the 10 minute chat. I don’t want to go overboard but at the same time don’t want to look like an idiot the otherway…… and should i make notes for my senior…we have to fill quite a bit of time.
the day will probalbly determine who is going to get on and up in the firm and who isn’t…the managers I am with don’t really care because there jobs are safe and they don’t like the new team……
