Tattoo U?

i’m 16 turning 17 soon and for my birthday i would love to get a tattoo. i have full parental consent but the age in oregon continues to be 18. are there any states near that allow tattoos with parental consent? if not, do you know any professional artists that would consider doing the work themselves?

Can your parents sign a paper saying you can get the tattoo?
Most tattoo places will allow you to get one if your parents sign a paper saying they wont sue.

You can get them in Ohio under 18 if you have a parent. but they have to come with you to sign the paperwork.

What are you getting?

I don’t know about over there but in Ireland most places don’t check for ID, or anywhere that I’ve been to did not question it. Have you tried different places?

I don’t know anything about American geography but if Florida or Ohio are anywhere near you try checking out somewhere there as other people have mentioned them. Alternatively wait until your next birthday. It’s something your going to have for life anyway, one year longer to wait isn’t too long compared to that :)

I know it sucks, I had to wait as well until my 18th. (Because of my mum lol, not because of ID problems) I’d wanted it since I was 12 so I know what you mean :)

As I said though, it’s a permanent thing that will remain with you for the rest of your life, try not to get down about the next year if you do end up having to wait.

Yeah I had to wait for mine too. But I got mine soon after I turned 18. Totally worth the wait!!
