Gas went up, thus the price of everything else went up again.
I agree with you… Not fun.
If you’re fairly close, driving could be an option.
Or hitchhiking… only not because that’s dangerous.

Unfortunately there’s not many good options on travel this summer. Or for a while. I guess that’s what we get for messing up the economy.

and would a train be cheaper, i really dont know the difference between train and air plane tickets.

i wouldnt really suggest it if you get sea sick easy. i road a train from massachusetts to alabama and i was quite sea sick the entire trip.

and trains arent so bad if you pay for the room. sure its small but you get your own bathroom with shower and sink, a bed, small couch and a small closet and a tv :]

10 hours isn’t that bad. Anyways, there’s a fuel crissis and Continential Airlines or whatever just layed off 3000 (YES, 3000) employees. So expect things to get worse.

Small airline companies and niche market companies like Silverjet, who offer “business class” flights are being abruptly shutdown, in already difficult market its sad to see so many lose their jobs and many stranded travelers lose their tickets.

hay you should live in uk. gas cost £1.27p a litre here. i cant afford to drive anywhere right now. :(

the same reason why everything else is expensive because they are trying to maximize their profit by raising prices and they get away with it because they know they can and there is nothing we can do about it because we need these services.
