Newspapers are the key, instead of using papertowels use newspaper and windex they work AWESOME!

I had this problem for months, and just finally fixed it. (Though I haven’t tried the newspaper thing — that seems to work for some people as well).

I used basic Windex, a microfiber towel, and a bone-dry cotton rag. The key was not the cleaning product, but how you wash it.

Drench the window and microfiber towel in Windex and use the microfiber to spread it around. Then, *before it dries*, use the cotton rag (with a lot of pressure) to dry it. The windex/microfiber loosens all the grease and oil, and the cotton will soak it up. Be sure to do both sides of the window and always use the driest part of the cotton rag that you can. If the window is really greasy you might have to do a second pass with another cotton rag. I did this and my windows are finally clear.

Good luck.
