no global warming cannot be stopped, it is a natural process. The problem society is talking about, and yes it is true, is the fact that we are greatly speeding up the process of global warming. This can have very drastic and dangerous effects on the environment, which we live in, which means it effects us too!

what we can stop is adding to the process of the green house effect. in regular green houses, sunlight enters through the clear plastic or glass, heats up the air, then because of the clear plastic or glass, the heat cannot escape, creating a warm environment. the CO2, carbon dioxide, we add to the atmosphere (e.g. part of pollution from cars using fossil fuels) acts like the clear plastic or glass in a green house. Hence our earth is being heated up like a green house. as I said before, this is something that is done naturally but we are greatly speeding it up

I agree with micmaster, and I did a study on the effects we have on global warming. It is a process that has happened many times in the life of this earth, and will happen many more times unless we totally destroy the earth before it’s time.

Global warming cannot be stopped only slowed down. Congress however, will never recognize global warming as a serious problem, even if a natural disaster occurs and global warming is clearly to blame. Despite the facts that show global warming is a true problem, I doubt we will do anything.

We have enough oil in texas to run america for quite a while so why would we turn to alternative fuels if we could gas back to as cheap as 10cents a gallon. The only time global warming will be delt with is in a manner were we dont deal with it.

Global warming is a serious issue, and it may be unstoppable but we have to try to stop it from becoming a bigger problem. So even if you believe global warming is “unstoppable” that does not mean we can still keep polluting our planet the way we do.
