I have a unibrow problem.
So, I’m almost 14 and I’m a boy with a unibrow. I’ve had it for a while, but then I grew longish hair to cover it. I try to shave it without my parents knowing but there are like lil hairs left that look like blackheads. I really want to wax it or get it lazered, but I’m to embarrassed to tell my mom and to embarrassed to go into a salon or something to remove it.. what shuld i do.. :[ I want to get short hair again, but I’m afraid about my uni.

Where were you?
You can also watch events on Help.com as they happen
don’t wax it, embrace it! get yourself a pair of black glasses and chew on a cigar constantly, everyone will think you are one of the marx brothers.
no seriously… i really need it gone but im embarrased
Wow don’t do that, lol, but just tell your parents, do be a little girl about it. the more you wait the more embarrassed you’ll get.
there are a couple of mexican brothers that are in the guinness book of world records for being hairy, they pull tons of girls.
just sayin
The cheapest, easiest option is to tweeze them. Pull the skin taut and pluck those buggers out. The more you tweeze, the weaker the hair will become. Yes, it will be uncomfortable the first few times you tweeze, but the skin will toughen up and it won’t hurt so much. Tweeze about once a week for good results. Good luck! :D
(a girl who tweezes who has a brother with a unibrow who tweezes, too!)
yeh but i dont get good results when i tweeze. i need to wax…… :[
Try different tweezers. Revlon makes a good one that isn’t too expensive. I have a Napoleon Perdis one that rocks, but it’s pricey.
*sings* All we are saaaaying…is give tweeze a chance…
XD
Also, you can ask a female friend to help you if you decide to get a home waxing kit. They’re pretty ideal for your situation.
that’s not a bad idea at all, you can trade tweezing chores where she tweezes your unibrow and you can tweeze something very personal of hers.
get a good anatomy lesson out of the whole thing
Jose, you’re not helping, dear…
i try to convince him to embrace who he is naturally and that’s not helping?
maybe you can convince him to try waxing his entire body, get a full body tattoo or how about some horn implants in his skull and that will be helpful?
cut it
Suggesting a 14 year old tweeze a very personal part of a female’s anatomy isn’t very sound advice, Jose. Settle down. ;)

Jose have you ever had a girlfriend? Go after one of her sensitive areas with a pair of tweezers and you’re likely to get kicked.
You’ve stated what I was questioning myself. =p
I have the same problem, i tweeze with a good pair of tweezers and get OK results, i end up tweezing about twice or three times a week, i also find it quite embarrasing.
My main problem now is that i feel they’re too close together but i’m not going to get carried away.. :)
Don’t worry, youve got to be REALLY close to notice anything ;)
