The disk drive thing for my computer is stuck and won’t open.

I don’t know if there’s anything jammed in it. Any tips on how to open it?

(Haha and sorry I forget what you call it)

If you look at your disc drive there should be small hole next to or underneath the eject button. Get a paperclip and unfold it so that you poke one end in to the hole. Push it in gently, give it one big push and the LED should flash. If it doesn’t open then keep pushing the paperclip in, but otherwise it should open.

Ok I will try that…but I’m afraid I will break something.

Just be careful you dont have the Help.com virus - if your keyboard dies on start up next then it’s possible. It’s highly unliikely your cd/dvd writer is broken more that it has been disabled by software - do you have an good anti-virus programme

I had the same problem what I did was take a paper clip and gently push it in there then wiggle it around and give it one big push the disk drive should have popped out a little bit now take your fingernails and kinda pull itut that is what I did an it worked
