Sister Mary Ann’s Gasoline

Sister Mary Ann, who worked for a home health agency,

was out making her rounds visiting homebound patients when she ran out of gas.

As luck would have it, an Texaco Gasoline station was just a block away.

She walked to the station to borrow a gas can and buy some gas.

The attendant told her that the only gas can he owned had been loaned out, but she could wait until it was returned.

Since Sister Mary Ann was on the way to see a patient,

she decided not to wait and walked back to her car.

She looked for something in her car that she could fill with gas and spotted the bedpan she was taking to the patient.

Always resourceful, Sister Mary Ann carried the bedpan to the station, filled it with gasoline, and carried the full bedpan back to her car.

As she was pouring the gas into her tank, two Baptists watched from across the street.

One of them turned to the other and said,

‘If it starts, I’m turning Catholic.’

Hope this brings a smile to your day.

As always Hope this helps :-)

LOL that was a good one beepbee. I have put gas in a gallon milk jug once they had no problem with it. As long as you don’t get caught doing it go for it is what the attendant said. It was for the lawn mower not my fruit loops by the way. LMAO :-)

Yep, and where I live, there is no attendant. There is a cashier inside the store and you pay into a machine outside. If I put $5.00 into the machine, I could fill that gallon milk jug and not much more. The attendant would not know where the gas went unless he reviewed the security tape. Of course, the security tape would reveal the crime, but considering the price of that gas, who actually committed the bigger crime?

Sorry for the earlier downer reply. Your joke was intended to give us a laugh and I jumped in with nothing good to say. I really do appreciate your effort to lighten things up. Please send another joke to us, Clue.

I like sinsative better. And, thinking about what it might mean made me laugh. It was even better than your joke!
