friends help: I am a 23yr old singe mother. - Help.com

I am a 23yr old singe mother.

I am staying with a friend’s family because my family disowned me. Although I am thankful to have a roof over my son’s head, there is a proe that I am paying for it. The harder that I try to stand up, the more that I get knocked down and pushed to the side. I pray everyday for change. I rememeber my grandmother teaching that the more prayers the better. But she aso told me that I have to try to make it happen because God helps those that he sees trying to make it. Does anyone know something that I am missing bc I’ve tried to get grants but I don’t have a credit card. can anyone help?

Firstly, your sons wellbeing is really important and at least that’s one thing sorted.
If that’s what you believe then yes, keep praying but your gran is right, action is needed on your part.
I’m not sure where to start, can you tell me what country you live in?

im not a single mum so cannot understand the heaviness of your position, i have been disowned by my dad though at 26 and 3 years later it still hurts like hell but what i wanted to say was you cant choose your family but now you have made your own you can only endevour to do a better job.by looking for change on a day to day basis it wont happen, **** takes time, try a grattitude stone, so everytime you pick it up your greatfull for the things you do have, you have faith, you have your child,you have your health and friends to put a roof over your head, the more you run over the positive the more of it you will attract! fact! your on the net so look up “The Secret” how to attract the things in life you want, you can see a snippet on you tube,

good luck babes x

maybe what you’ll looking for, is amongst groups, such as women shelters
for the career unemployed, /and or/ the local welfare assistance offices.
Believe or not, they offer many resources for women with children,not only
small monetary assistance, but opportunities for change of career training;
and network of organizations that help you start your own business, with
training. like (homes for adult disabled citizens)
