It just made me laugh, a few times actually. And we need laughs sometimes on here.
Have to explain a bit first. In Iceland there’s no seperation between church and state. A portion of our taxes goes to the church unless we change our status in the national registry to “not affiliated with any religion” - in this case that portion is still taken from our taxes but goes to the University of Iceland instead of the church. SO! There’s this organization in Iceland that basically call themselves athiests and they’ll regularly protest the church in their own quirky way. This is the best so far in my opinion. So basically the people in the video are like the highest priests in the Icelandic church obviously on their way to some sort of cerimony.
