But before I shook hands with Death.
HOPE stepped in between,
And smiled, Hugged and Embraced me,
And whispered, this you must endure.
I thought you left me, I told her.
I looked but you weren’t there anymore.
Just then, Comfort surrounded me,
And they lead me to a door.
It read, Knock and I’ll Open…
For life lies within,
And down my narrow path, you’ll find,
The gifts that I well bring.
Though the burden Life weighs down on you,
With Faith you will overcome.
And Courage will help you to endure
The race you’ve already won.
For there is Light at the end of the tunnel.
And your Heart will help you see,
That Joy, Love and Happiness,
All want you to be free,
To Carryout your purpose,
Of what your life can be.
