well i cant see the vid but i heard about that and that is a SICK thing to do.
the poor little puppy mustve been so scared. Id like to say the marine get thrown off a cliff =)

there will always be f**ked up people on the planet, its sad but true.

That is a horrible thing to do. I aren’t a huge animal lover, but it’s not fair to treat animals like that.

I guess some people just don’t see animals as liveing feeling creatures.. i really hope he is ashamed of himself.. what a cowardly and CRULE thing to do to an innocent and defenceless little puppy.

i agree with minty. why do some people not see animals as living creatures? they have feelings too! they wre here on earth before us!!!

I saw this post this morning and I didn’t respond to it, well because I didn’t want to get myself into trouble, or get flamed so early in the morning. Well, I’ve had my coffee now, so what the heck.

I think this Marines actions are DESPICABLE. I too am glad they are being “reprimanded” and may be thrown out of the Corp.

Having said that, I want to say I believe that CNN is even MORE despicable. I am NOT a pro-war person, and my views of this war are not important to this discussion, but why is this world wide news?! YES, he was in the wrong. But there are millions of animals killed daily in our very own cities! They could have gone into our cities and found people that steal cats from neighborhoods to feed to their champion fighting dogs. They could have busted open cells of dog fight rings. They could bust open a puppy farm. The dogs that I adopted were rescued from a puppy farm where over 200 dogs were found in one of those steal storage containers… after they got all the dog out, they found over 20 that were laying dead on the bottom… my dogs were forced to sleep on their dead litter mates. If they wanted to report on gruesome animal stories they didn’t HAVE to go to Iraq. Why did they pick a Marine in Iraq to crucify? Has the anti-war movement and our liberal news media bent so low to start showing the death count of little puppies?! I wonder if this particular Marine has happened to save the life of one of his buddies. I wonder if this Marine had not been in Iraq, how many other soilders might be dead or wounded right now. I wonder how many men will come home in a box because this Marine made a terrible inhumane mistake.

I wonder.

i once saw a video on youtube of young dogs and cats being kept in cages way too small for them in china. also people hung up the animals alive and pulled their skin off, and they didn;t kill them first, even that wudve been bad enough!

when i saw the video i was utterly devasted, disturbed and upset. people toturing, hurting, killing these animals for their fur for money. i feel there isnt enough justice in the world.

It is said that this is what being in the marines does to a person.
They get mentally ha very hard training plus its the group thing :
