I have a Gateway Digital Camera, DC-T50.

I was taking pictures when my zoom lens would not shut, the camera is locked now. I had my battery tested, it has an excellent charge. Any suggestions?

sounds like the motor or gears are pooched… any warranty on it?

btw - I had the same problem on an HP digital cam - it almost made me cry since I loved that camera - it was just a few grains of sand from a beach that caused the problem
