My mother always inspired me to be a writer but…

.?
I have got a chance now to show my skills (even I am not much aware of them). I need to write a complete book on either of algorithm, artificial intelligence, theory of computation. I need to send a sample unit/chapter before I write the whole book. How to do these 2 things?

Start out by writing an outline. What do people need to know about the selected subject… lay it out. Go back over it and flesh it out… more details. What else should they know? Are there examples and/or case studies that can help people grasp the concept?

Then to write the sample chapter, get REALLY detailed. Write what they need to know, with examples, case studies, and sample exercises if it is a textbook. …

And remember, writing takes time. You will have to re-write and re-write to get it to be what you want it to be… but it is worth it.
