Okay, so I’ve been uploading my lyrics and poetry on fictionpress.com for a few years now, and I’ve always had this problem.

I’ve tried several methods of fixing it, but nothing works, and now I’m just fed up.

I type my poems into microsoft word documents, double spacing between stanzas and single spacing between lines, like this:

“here is the first stanza
of a poem, notice how i single space between
the lines in one stanza

and double space between stanzas,
as is standard for all poetry”

however, when i upload these documents to fictionpress, it smushes all of the writing together with a double space between each line. so, instead of what I wrote above, it would be something terrible and confusing like:

“here is the first stanza

of a poem, notice how i single space between

the lines in one stanza

and double space between stanzas,

as is standard for all poetry”

now, this really interrupts the intended flow of my writing, and is very frustrating. can anyone *please* help me? :/
