Purpose of Network hierarchy, does it provide security?
So yeah, big university project on a system I made, I thought hierarchy provided security in some sense but turns out the internet hates me and decided it doesn’t need any information on the purpose of a network hierarchy.
I have three levels, head office, district office, office. By putting these in different subnets in a hierarchy with the head office at the highest level (the level only one subnet can exist on), does this provide ANY security or serve ANY purpose? any help would be appreciated seeing as i have to do a speech on this real frickin soon.
