butter icing is very good for chocolate cakes. You can even put a little nut flavoring in or some thing.
Or you could stick coconut to the out side lol I love coconut

Do something awesome, take regular white icing and add green food coloring and a little mint extract to make it a mint chocolate chip cake. When you’re done put semi-sweet chocolate chips on it.

Make me some brownies while you’re at it…

Mix Cool whip with icing sugar or reg white icing.
Play around with food colouring and make a really cool colour he would like.
Garnish it with candy, coco, write something on it, make it like a lil love note.

Black pepper and chocolate is a combo I like… (odd? yes, but trust me…)
Mint also works good. Mocha!

But the traditional combinations are great too.

Problem of modern day society. Too many choices =)

If you use vanilla, you can use food dye to decorate it and whatnot.

Even if you would use dirt as a flavour. The fact that you made him a cake should be enough reason for him to like it. =)

He doesn’t like mint chocolate and everyone’s screaming strawberry but if you’re going to do strawberry use a glaze, you can get it in the freezer section of the grocery store, kind of like strawberry shortcake topping…this way it won’t be too sweet…
